Kayleigh & Lewis’ Beautiful Brook Marston Farm Hotel Wedding

A relaxed summer wedding at Brook Marston Farm Hotel – 13th June 2026

As a West Midlands wedding photographer, I love capturing weddings that are full of genuine emotion, laughter and those little moments that make each couple’s day unique. Kayleigh and Lewis’ wedding at Brook Marston Farm Hotel on 13th June 2026 was a wonderful example of exactly that.

From the excitement of bridal preparations to a beautiful outdoor ceremony, joyful confetti celebrations and a relaxed sunset session, their wedding day was filled with lovely moments to remember.

It was a pleasure to document their story in my natural, relaxed and documentary style, allowing them to enjoy their day while I captured the memories as they unfolded.

Bridal Preparations – The Excitement Before the Ceremony

The day began with bridal preparations, where the excitement was building as Kayleigh got ready for her wedding.

I always enjoy this part of a wedding day because there are so many little moments worth capturing. From the finishing touches to the dress and details to the laughter and anticipation shared with loved ones, bridal prep helps tell the story of the day from the very beginning.

Rather than directing every moment, I like to keep things relaxed and unobtrusive, allowing the atmosphere and emotions to come through naturally in the photographs.

A Beautiful, Relaxed Outdoor Ceremony at Brook Marston Farm Hotel

One of the lovely parts of Kayleigh and Lewis’ wedding was their outdoor ceremony.

Surrounded by the beautiful grounds of Brook Marston Farm Hotel, they exchanged their vows in a relaxed outdoor setting, with their family and friends there to celebrate alongside them.

There is something particularly special about an outdoor wedding ceremony. The natural surroundings, the atmosphere and the reactions of the people closest to you all come together to create moments that are genuinely memorable.

As a documentary wedding photographer, I love capturing the little glances, smiles and emotions that happen throughout the ceremony without interrupting the moment.

Group Photos, Confetti and a Quick Couple Session

After the ceremony, it was time to gather everyone together for some group photographs.

I know how important it is for couples to have photographs with their family and friends, so I aim to make this part of the day as relaxed and enjoyable as possible while capturing those important combinations.

Then came the confetti! One of my favourite parts of a wedding day, as everyone comes together to celebrate the newlyweds. The laughter, excitement and spontaneous reactions make these moments perfect for natural wedding photography.

We also took a little time for a quick couple session with Kayleigh and Lewis. Keeping things simple and relaxed allowed them to enjoy a few moments together while I captured some beautiful photographs of the two of them.

I love creating natural couple portraits that feel like the couple themselves, rather than overly posed photographs.

Candid Wedding Photography – The Moments in Between

Following the celebrations, the day continued with plenty of lovely candid moments.

From guests enjoying themselves to the bride and groom sharing moments with their friends and family, there was so much happening throughout the reception.

These are the moments I particularly love capturing as a wedding photographer. Sometimes the most meaningful photographs are not the ones that have been planned, but the little interactions that happen naturally throughout the day.

A spontaneous laugh, a warm hug, a knowing glance or a moment of joy on the dance floor can become a treasured memory.

My approach to wedding photography is all about telling the story of your day as it really happened, capturing the atmosphere and emotions without making everything feel staged.

Wedding Reception, Speeches and Cake Cutting

As the celebrations continued, it was time for the wedding reception.

The speeches brought plenty of emotion and laughter, with lovely reactions from Kayleigh, Lewis and their guests. Speeches are always a wonderful opportunity to capture genuine expressions, whether that is a heartfelt moment or everyone laughing together.

Next came the cake cutting, another special moment for the newlyweds and a lovely opportunity to capture a few photographs before the evening celebrations really got going.

I enjoy documenting these traditional wedding moments while also keeping an eye out for everything happening around them.

First Dance and Evening Celebrations

As the evening arrived, Kayleigh and Lewis shared their first dance together.

It was a lovely way to begin the evening celebrations, with their family and friends gathered around them to share the moment.

After a full day of celebrations, the dance floor brought a different energy to the wedding. I love capturing the atmosphere of the evening, from the couple enjoying their first dance to the candid reactions and celebrations of their guests.

These photographs help complete the story of a wedding day, preserving not just how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.

A Beautiful Sunset Session with Kayleigh and Lewis

To finish the day, we took a little time for a short sunset session together.

This is always one of my favourite opportunities during a wedding. After a busy day filled with celebrations, it gives the couple a chance to step away for a few quiet moments together.

The softer evening light creates a beautiful atmosphere for relaxed portraits, and it was lovely to capture Kayleigh and Lewis enjoying a little time together as newlyweds.

For me, these quieter moments are just as meaningful as the big celebrations. They bring a lovely sense of calm to the story of the day and create a beautiful way to finish their wedding photographs.
